August Peridot

August birthstone is the Peridot. It signifies Strength. I must admit that I am very biased about this little gem, as it's my own birthstone. It's sometimes called the "evening emerald" which is very fitting due to my daughter being a May Emerald child. The "true" color of this gem is a great fit for the peridot.
